Terms of Service

1.1 These Terms and Money Policy govern your use of the Riffutures website, dashboard, services, content, documents, communication channels, and any related features that Riffutures LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, makes available. Riffutures LLC is referred to as "Riffutures", "we", "us", or "our". The person or entity who uses the platform is referred to as "you" or "user".

1.2 The platform delivers structured tools for personal reflection, guided diagnostics, and learning oriented experiences. Services may assess patterns, describe tendencies, and present perspective shifting prompts for self evaluation. They are designed for personal development in a reflective and educational framework. They are not medical care. They are not psychological therapy. They are not legal, investment, accounting, or any other professional service. You remain solely responsible for how you interpret and apply any insight.

1.3 By accessing or using the platform, you accept these Terms and Money Policy in full, together with our Privacy and Contact Policy, and any incorporated policies or notices presented in product. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

1.4 We may update these Terms and Money Policy at any time by posting a revised version with an updated effective date. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice in product or by email where feasible. Your continued use after the effective date indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.

2.1 "Platform" means the Riffutures website and dashboard at domains we control, together with secure user areas, report viewers, download modules, and any communication or notification features that we enable.

2.2 "Services" means the features and experiences made available on the platform, including Pulse Scan, Echo Thread, Inner Compass, downloadable reports, and other reflective or insight tools that may be introduced or retired from time to time.

2.3 "Echo Keys" means prepaid access credits stored in your account wallet that authorize you to initiate or unlock specific services. Echo Keys are a limited, revocable, non transferable license to access digital features. Echo Keys do not represent money. Echo Keys are not legal tender, are not a deposit, are not a security, and are not redeemable for cash.

2.4 "Subscription" means a recurring billing arrangement that grants continued access to a plan. Plans may include a periodic Echo Key allowance and other entitlements during each billing cycle. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions auto renew monthly until canceled.

2.5 "Beta Stage" means the period through and including 31 January 2026 during which we may iterate features, entitlements, prices, payment routing, user flows, and access. During Beta Stage, certain services, including Inner Compass, may be purchasable directly in addition to subscription access. Beta features can be modified, paused, or retired at any time.

2.6 "RIF African Enterprises" means the Africa handling reference used to process certain Africa bound payments via Flutterwave. Services are provided by Riffutures LLC. The legal contracting party remains Riffutures LLC unless expressly stated otherwise.

3.1 The platform is designed to facilitate personal reflection, structured diagnostics for self understanding, and guidance that supports learning and awareness. Outputs are presented as educational and reflective content. They are not clinical claims, are not disease diagnosis, and are not a substitute for professional evaluation.

3.2 You agree not to rely on the platform for urgent decisions or emergencies. If you need medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional services, consult qualified professionals in those fields.

3.3 You are solely responsible for your own choices. Any decision you make based on content or outputs is your decision. You agree that you will not assert that Riffutures or the platform caused or controlled your decision making or outcomes.

3.4 We do not guarantee results. Outcomes vary by user, by context, by readiness to act, and by many personal factors outside our control.

4.1 Certain features, such as the Pulse Scan, may be available without registration. Advanced features, including Echo Thread and report storage, require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it updated.

4.2 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account without condition. Users aged 13 to 17 may use the platform with parental guidance. Where local law requires a higher minimum age, you represent that you satisfy that requirement. We may request confirmation of parental guidance or age where appropriate.

4.3 You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your password, lend access, or allow unauthorized use.

4.4 We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, risk platform integrity or security, or fail verification steps.

5.1 You can access paid services using subscriptions or, during Beta Stage, with one time Echo Key purchases that are deducted when you initiate a paid session or unlock a paid feature. Where a plan grants Echo Keys, those keys are credited to your wallet at the start of each billing period.

5.2 We may change plan names, allowances, inclusions, or prices. For subscriptions, price changes take effect in the next billing cycle after notice is provided. Your continued subscription after the effective date constitutes agreement to the revised price.

5.3 Promotional credits may be offered. Promotional items have no cash value, may expire, and can be revoked for misuse or ineligibility.

5.4 Echo Keys cannot be resold or transferred without our written permission. Echo Keys have no cash value and are not refundable except as provided in Section 10.

6.1 Global payments are routed through Stripe. Africa bound payments may be routed through Flutterwave. Where noted in receipts or confirmation flows, RIF African Enterprises may appear in the context of Africa payment handling. Services, support, and contractual obligations remain with Riffutures LLC.

6.2 You authorize Riffutures and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for subscriptions, Echo Keys, taxes, and any other agreed fees. You agree to pay all amounts when due.

6.3 Prices are shown in supported currencies. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply currency conversion or fees. Those are your responsibility.

6.4 You agree not to submit chargebacks for services already delivered or for Echo Keys already used. Disputes must follow Section 22.

7.1 Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel in your account settings. Cancellation prevents future charges. It does not retroactively refund the current cycle.

7.2 If your plan includes an Echo Key allowance, keys already credited for the active cycle remain available until used or until their stated expiration where applicable.

8.1 Pulse Scan is a discovery feature that may be available without registration. The results are presented for thoughtful reading and self reflection. They can be viewed and, where offered, downloaded.

8.2 Echo Thread is an interactive, reflective guidance session available in the dashboard. Each session consumes Echo Keys according to posted rates and may generate a written output that you can review within your account.

8.3 Inner Compass may be available for direct purchase in Beta Stage and may also be included in plan tiers. Pricing, deductions, and inclusions can change during Beta Stage as we iterate.

8.4 Reports are provided for your personal internal use. You can download them for your own records. You may not resell, publish, or distribute them to the public.

9.1 We will make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available. You understand that online services occasionally experience outages, scheduled maintenance, updates, or unplanned interruptions.

9.2 We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service, including Beta features, at any time. We do not accept liability for changes that are reasonable in the operation of a modern online service.

10.1 You may request a refund within three days of purchase or renewal if and only if no Echo Keys have been used and no paid service has been accessed after that purchase or renewal. This is the "three day unused window".

10.2 Once any Echo Keys have been used or any paid service has begun, your purchase becomes final and non refundable. This applies to subscriptions, Inner Compass, Echo Thread, and any other paid feature.

10.3 For renewals, the same rule applies. If no keys were used within three days after the renewal charge, you may request a refund. If any keys were used, the renewal is final.

10.4 Refund requests must be initiated through the contact method in our Privacy and Contact Policy, Section 13 from the email associated with your account. We may require confirmation that no key was used and no paid service accessed.

10.5 Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method where feasible. We may deny refunds that do not meet the conditions stated here or where we reasonably suspect misuse.

10.6 This policy is designed to make expectations clear before service initiation and to reduce disputes for intangible services.

11.1 You agree that you will not misuse the platform in any way. The following behaviors are prohibited: scraping, automated harvesting, credential sharing, account selling, reverse engineering, attempting to derive underlying logic, bypassing security controls, interfering with access control, burdening the infrastructure with unreasonable requests, or using the platform to engage in unlawful conduct.

11.2 You agree not to upload, post, or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or abusive. You agree not to harm other users or misrepresent your identity.

11.3 We may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts to protect the platform or users, or to comply with law.

12.1 Riffutures owns all rights in the platform, including its design, architecture, layout, brand, logos, textual content, documentation, frameworks, diagnostic formats, reports, and any other materials we supply. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

12.2 Subject to your full compliance with these Terms, Riffutures grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non exclusive, non transferable license to access the platform and to view and download your reports for your own internal use.

12.3 You may not create derivative works from the platform or materials, except where permitted by law. You may not reproduce, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, distribute, or resell materials without written consent.

12.4 You may not use our names, logos, or brand assets without written permission. You may not imply endorsement or partnership without written permission.

13.1 If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant Riffutures a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free license to use that feedback for product improvement without obligation to you. Do not submit ideas you wish to keep confidential or to license under terms that conflict with this section.

13.2 Content you submit inside sessions remains associated with your account for your private use, subject to the privacy controls in our Privacy and Contact Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that you have rights to any content you submit.

14.1 The platform exists to enable personal reflection, behavior awareness, and improved self direction. Outputs are written as learning tools. They are not prescriptions. They are not treatments. They are not a guarantee of results.

14.2 You agree that you will interpret outputs as reflective prompts and will exercise judgment in applying them in your life. You will seek relevant licensed professionals where needed.

15.1 The platform and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Riffutures disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non infringement.

15.2 We do not promise uninterrupted or error free service. We do not promise that outputs will meet any specific expectation or produce a particular outcome.

15.3 During Beta Stage, feature stability and availability may vary. You accept that iteration is necessary to improve the product.

16.1 To the fullest extent allowed by law, Riffutures will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

16.2 In all cases, Riffutures' total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the platform or these Terms is limited to the lesser of: a) the amounts you paid to Riffutures for the specific service in the six months before the claim, or b) the value of any unused Echo Keys in your wallet at the time the claim is asserted.

16.3 These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

17.1 You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Riffutures, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, your infringement of third party rights, or your misuse of any output.

18.1 Reports generated for you are licensed to you for personal internal use only. All intellectual property in the structure and language of those reports remains with Riffutures.

18.2 You may print or store copies of your reports for personal use. You may not monetize, publish, or distribute reports.

19.1 Pulse Scan may be accessible without registration. We may limit free access, set usage caps, or require registration at any time. We may watermark, throttle, or otherwise manage free outputs to protect platform quality.

20.1 Prices may be exclusive of taxes. Where required, taxes will be calculated and charged during checkout. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

21.1 You confirm that you are not subject to trade sanctions or prohibited by law from using the platform. You agree to comply with export, import, and economic sanctions laws that may apply.

22.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules.

22.2 Before filing a claim, you agree to send a written notice of dispute to the contact in our Privacy and Contact Policy, Section 13 and allow thirty days for informal resolution.

22.3 Except for small claims actions that qualify in your local small claims court, all disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration seated in New Mexico under the rules of a recognized arbitration administrator. The arbitrator may award individual relief only. You and Riffutures waive any right to a jury trial and waive any right to participate in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

22.4 Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect intellectual property or platform security.

23.1 You consent to receive records and notices electronically, including by email and in dashboard notifications. For Africa bound users, we may use WhatsApp or Telegram where you have provided those details or consent. Data rates may apply.

23.2 Notices are deemed received when sent to the email in your account, or when posted clearly within your dashboard.

24.1 We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages, internet failures, natural events, public emergencies, acts of government, or supplier failures.

25.1 You may not assign these Terms or transfer your account without our consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a corporate transaction.

26.1 If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

27.1 These Terms and Money Policy together with our Privacy and Contact Policy and any policies referenced in product constitute the entire agreement between you and Riffutures concerning the platform. In case of conflict, a specific service policy, if any, controls over this general document.

28.1 These Terms are published in English and are intended for a global audience. If translations are offered, the English version controls in case of inconsistency.
